Yes, free, forever, as long as it is the same PDF file. New colors, a new title, new options: rebuild as often as you like. If you edit the PDF itself, the new version counts as a revision. Each document on your key includes up to 2 revised versions for 30 days after its first build, and after that a changed PDF uses another document slot.

Go to key recovery and enter your checkout email. Your keys are looked up with our payment provider and emailed to the address that bought them.

The single HTML file is best for sharing directly: email, chat, USB, a file anyone double-clicks. The zip folder unpacks to index.html plus assets and is best for hosting on a website, where it keeps file sizes friendlier for web servers.

Build the zip, unpack it onto your site (or any static host), and point the QR code at the folder's index.html. There is no Riffle server in the path and no recurring fee.

Yes. Built files are fully self-contained. They open from a local drive or a USB stick with no internet at all.

Your pages are encrypted with AES-256 inside the file and decrypted in the reader's browser when they enter the password. It is real encryption: if the password is lost, nobody can open the file, including us. Keep your original PDF.

Riffle rebuilds the links that exist in the PDF. If the original only shows the text of a URL without a real link on it, there is nothing to carry over. Re-export the PDF with live links from your design tool.

Scanned documents are pictures of text, not text. Riffle carries over the PDF's real text layer when there is one; scans need OCR first.

Some PDFs contain blank pages, often print-layout spacers. After you add your PDF, Riffle flags pages that look blank and leaves them out by default. Uncheck or check any page in the page grid to decide what goes in.

Riffle estimates the output size before building. Use the quality presets and page ranges to trim it, and prefer the zip format for heavy books. Hundreds of pages build fine on a normal laptop.

Your browser caches the maker for up to ten minutes. Hard-refresh the page (Ctrl+F5, or Cmd+Shift+R on a Mac) to get the newest version.

Yes. The conversion runs entirely in your browser and your PDF is never uploaded. Open your browser's network tab while you build and you will see a couple of tiny requests carrying sizes and a file fingerprint, never the file itself.
